Moapa Valley Art Guild
Moapa Valley Art Guild has been in existence since 1959. The club was started by Max Bunnell, the local high school teacher to promote the arts. Today that sentiment is still carried on. We are a club that encourages our members to create their fine art or crafts. We have a Spring Art and Craft Show which coincides with the community yard sale. In the fall we sponsor the very popular Pomegranate Festival in November. The Art Guild also awards scholarships to Moapa Valley High School graduating seniors that are enrolled in an institution of higher learning with a major in fine arts.
